Brent has worked with Baseline tennis for the last 4 years. He was a qualified coaching assistant with us and is now a fully qualified Tennis Australia Tennis Coach.

Brent qualified as one of the top of his class and is a real asset to Baseline Tennis. He is a young enthusiastic, fun member of the team and the children love him

Brent is our ‘Hot Shot’ Junior Coach specialist. His infectious personality that he brings to the court and his desire to continuously grow ensures that our/your young gun players are always learning the latest techniques and ideas coming out of ‘Tennis Australia’ year on year! Brent is also a superstar with adult beginners and shows a patience well beyond his years. Brent is looking forward to moving keen learners in the right direction at a rapid pace!

Wayne was born in Portsmouth, England. He has been involved in tennis and playing tournaments since he was 8 years old and has been coaching the sport for over 18 years in both England and Australia.
Wayne Graduated from Portsmouth University with a business management degree and went on to become a senior manager at David Lloyd Leisure, one of the largest tennis and health facilities in Europe.

Wayne emigrated with his wife and two children to Mission Beach in January 2008 and is enjoying helping to put both development and performance tennis on the Far North Queensland map.

We are also very proud that in 2013 Wayne was an award winner for Coaching Excellence – ANZ Tennis HotShots. In 2016 Wayne was nominated for an award in Coaching Excellence at a Club level. Wayne is also a Learning Facilitator for Tennis Australia and is very much involved with teaching motivated tennis individuals to fulfil a career in coaching our sport. Wayne also is involved in other rolls such as a National Cardio Tennis Mentor and Junior Development Series Co-ordinator.
